PREPLESS FULL MOUTH RESTORATION WITH FELDSPATHIC CERAMICS. A CONSERVATIVE APPROACH.
Objective: Resolve an aesthetic problem due to the presence of microdontics by a minimally invasive treatment with no preparation veneers and overlays.

MethodsA 26-year-old female patient  came to our dental office. Her chief complaint was  about her smile. During the first visit, photos, radiographs and full-arch impressions were taken. The patient had no medical history of interest. The waxed-up preliminary cast was placed in the mouth for clinical evaluation in terms of shape, size, and length.
In the following visit, the material was loaded into a silicone (Aquasil,Dentsply,Milford DE,USA)  guide made on the wax-up and positioned in the patient's mouth.
All information was collected from the mock-up using digital photography and impression to obtain a cast. The mock-up was then removed from the mouth and the teeth were cleaned and pumiced for impression procedures with silicone and sent to the laboratory. Feldspathic (Noritake) ceramic veneers were obtained and prepared for bonding. Initially the intaglio surfaces of veneers were etched with 10% hydrofluoric acid, after washing to remove the acid, with distilled water and cleaned ultrasonically to eliminate any residual material. The surface was air dried and a silane coupling agent was applied, the adhesive(Prime&Bond NT-Dentsply, Milford DE,USA) was left uncured, and previously selected resin cement (RelyX Veneer Cement, 3M, Minnesota ,USA.) was injected carefully into the veneer. The surface of each tooth was etched with 37% of phosphoric acid (DeTrey Conditioner36,Dentsply Konstanz, Deutschland) for 30 seconds, washed and dried. The same adhesive used for the intaglio surface of the ceramic was applied and also left uncured. Each restoration was positioned on the specific tooth; excess resin cement was removed, light source was use for curing for 40 seconds, sharp scalpel was used to remove excess adhesive and resin cement and  final adjustments were made with a polishing system (PoGo,Dentsply,Milford DE,USA).

Results: It is possible to achieve a full mouth restoration with minimally invasive techniques.

ConclusionNo preparation veneers and overlay achieved satisfactory esthetic technique maximizing tooth conservation.
